I'm having a hard time finding some o2 sensor mods. Is there anyone that knows of some o2 sensor upgrades? Like a wideband would work? or any type? or only a stock one? can it mount anywhere on the exhaust? I dunno, everything that I can learn.

If you would like to upgrade your O2 sensor, a wideband is what you would do. Factory sensors are there to keep the car running like it should. Although many simple engine management options can log the output of these factory sensors and give you some information as to how the car is running, they are not very good. A wideband can be installed nearly anywhere in the exhaust, with a few restrictions. Basically, keep the sensor mounted at least 12-18" down from the turbo, and a few degrees above the horizon (designed to keep moisture off the sensor). I stuck my wideband O2 sensor in the place of the factory rear O2 sensor, as I do not have a catalytic converter. Otherwise, nearly any exhaust shop can weld in an extra O2 sensor bung wherever you choose to place it. Addititonally, this extra bung can often come with a plug to seal it if you have to remove the wideband. I hoped this helped. If there is anything else you want to know, feel free to ask.

Can I replace the stock o2 sensor with a wideband o2 sensor to the ecu? or if I wanted to add an o2 sensor it would just be additional to the stock one?

Can I install a wideband o2 sensor, then hook an o2 meter up to it to take advantage of the wideband?

I have a MAFT that I have yet to install it, because I want to be able to balance the A/F mixture. I was told the stock o2 sensor wont help me in tuning the A/F, so I'm trying to figure out a way to do that w/o buying a logger or a scan tool.

no you cant replace the stock with a wideband, i wish it was that easy. best bet for the money is the AEM UEGO with the guage, can find them between 225 and 260 depending on where you look as for installing a wideband o2 and later the gauge ive read that they arent supposed to be installed unless they will be wired in

Wrong. Yes, you can replace the stock o2 sensor with a wide band. Wide band sensor packages often have multiple programmable outputs and one of them can be configured to emulate the narrow band output. There is some risk of shortening the life of the wide band sensor if placed in the stock location but many people have done this and reported it works fine, lasts long time. If sensor life is shortened you weld the o2 bung down the pipe a bit and cap the stock bung.
Here's an example of a wide band o2 with programmable outputs:
