95 Talon won't start, stuck in park

I have 1995 Eagle Talon it will not start and is stuck in park, the battery is working fine and everything on the dash is lighting up. Does anyone have a clue on what the problem could be? Thanks.

sounds like it could be an ignition switch problem, not the part you actually stick the key in but the electrical part behind it. this will cause you not to be able to get it out of park due to the trans not getting the signal from the ignition

Disconect the battery, turn the key to on, press in the brake and see if it will go in Drive.

NO, the started doesn't turn and you can't hear anything.

I did this and it worked, but what do you do after you get it in drive???
