I installed my HKS turbo timer today. Plugged in everything but the park brake ground and the two stray wires off the 3to4 pin adapter. i plugged it all in then started the car the turbo timer shut off when the key was off. i figured it was because of the park break. then the real problem arose. the car was shut off and i heard a clicking coming from the ecu. sounded like fuel pump on and off. i look up that symptom online. and found people had fried ecu's after hearing that noise. so i took the turbo timer off to see if it fixed the click. sure enough it did.
What should i do? any idea's?
thanks markus.

I just tried it again. Same thing. But i found out the ticking only happens when the Timer is ground. If you take the ground off it does not click even with the key off.

if the ebrake wire is not connected or grounded the TT will shut of its normal

if not connected to ebrake you absolutely need to ground it! and for the ecu click, its strange, i really dont know what you have done wrong when connecting your TT:coy:

My dad is looking at it. He has been around DSM's and turbos since before i was born. He says it in the power wiring because it does it even when the car is off. idk. LOL.

GUYS GUYS GUYS!
I got it.
I switched the green and red wires! Walla. Perfection. Thanks for all your input.

WoW new problem the stereo fails to turn on now. I unplugged the turbo timer then it worked. Plug it back in doesn't work. Any ideas?
