I had to let someone drive my car i know they romped on it. But when i went to pull it into the garage it wasn't firing right i checked the plugs and the plug in cylinder #1 was literally melted on the bottom what may have caused this and what do i need to do to prevent this. Thanks

Running too lean. I would check to make sure the everything fuel wise is working ok, and check the other plugs. Are you stock besides exhaust?

I don't see how you guys can let other people borrow your cars.

Do all the other spark plugs look fine? If so, you might be having a problem with that one injector. I'd either swap it to a different cylinder to see if the problem follows the injector, get them flow tested, or just get new injectors.

If the other plugs looked hot as well (just not as bad) then I'll sit here and ask you about your fuel setup and what psi you're running with what turbo.

Well lets get some info, You put a blow off valve in are you venting it? Whats your boost at? Did you ask your (friend) if anything went wrong? Do you have any mods done that are not listed?

I haven't done anything with it ill get on it Saturday the other plugs looked a little brownish but not nearly as bad i have the blow off recirculated i have no gauges which is killin me right now im runnin a t-25 with horrible shaft play i have a 14-b sittin but need to work through this first. Thanks for the help.

So could it be something other than fuel?
Or is it just obviously running too lean and there is fuel issues.

invest in a boost gauge and a wideband like a aem or plx, or just wait til its too late and you need a new motor, 300bucks now or 3000 later

it even could be a piece of foreign metal or anything that passed by the intake valve area that have destroyed your spark plug. What do you mean by melted? melted by heat, scratch, missing parts.... do you have a boost controller or you are boosting the stock level? if the boost is stock, you are supposed to not be lean , ecm is driving it ok
