Okay I have a 95 TSi (FWD) The set up is 14b sitting on a Pacesetter manifold with a SSAC FMIC. I am having issues setting up the piping. The piping going to the throttle body is fine, the mounting of the IC itself is fine the problem comes into play when I am trying to connect the "J" to the LICP or "U" pipe with the 90 degree bend that comes with the SSAC kit. It almost seems as if the 'J" pipe is pointing to far to the passenger side because the 90 degree bend with not slide into the coupler. The 90 degree also makes contact with the front motor mount and the fan shroud so I removed a little material from both of those items and it goes though fine now. it also almost seems as if the 90 degree bend should be like 80 degrees and longer on one end almost like anothor "J" pipe. Also while doing research on the pacesetter manifold I think I remeber reading a post that said the pacesetter pushed the turbo to one side or the other by about an inch. Is this true? Any thoughts, comments , help or insight would be greatly appreciated!!

First off, If your J-pipe is pointing towards the Passenger side of the Front motor mount. Its meant to use with the Stock style SM IC piping (standard Jpipe with almost all install kits)... Considering your a 14B which is Same as the 16's you will need This stlye J-pipe It positions the J-pipe exit to the Drivers side of the motor mount. Which Lines up with your FMIC.

Yess with that IC you will do alot of... Tweeking and cutting to make it work..
(you get what you pay for).... GL buddy ;)

my experiance with the SSauto fmic was a lot of bang for the buck. My kit went on (short route) with no problems. I am thinking you are doing somthing wrong.

The SSAC FMIC kit is great everything that came with the kit bolted up perfectly. I used that guide to install it. Its just that I have a 14b and the kit was made for the t25 so i had to buy anothor brand of "J" which seems like it was made for a SMIC, so the kit is not bad i just didn't do enough research to get the right ''J" pipe
