i have a 96 eclipse gst and im wanting to get bigger rims for my car and i also want to lower it a little bit too. so what i want to know is how much i could drop my car with it still being driveable and not rubbing. so if anyone can tell me that from 16, 17, and 18" rimz how much i could drop it. and also if u have tips on what size tires to get with a drop.

17" with a 1.5" drop is fine.

225/45/17's are a very popular option and with a 1.5 or 2 ' drop it will look good to.
