Terrace,
I had a nasty crash a few months ago and am now repairing the damage. When i curbed the car in the winter, the driver side cv shaft broke and when I just pulled it out, all my tranny fluid leaked onto the ground. I am not thoroughly familiar with trannys and I was wondering if it is normal for this to happen.

once you get it all back together don't forget to refill the tranny. I totally agree with gordy on draining it next time.
