I've done some searching and found out parts of my questions. I've a 3" catback that came with my car. Without looking I am now assuming that there is an adapter on it for the cat.

I was looking at some "test pipes" on ebay. Or I have thought of making one. Something I have not yet been able to find a good answer to is, what happens to the rear O2 sensor if you eliminate the cat? Doesn't that throw the OBDII for a loop?

Also, what's the difference between a cat made for a 1g and a 2g? And Turbo vs NT? I keep finding stuff labeled for 1g and for NT cars. I've got a 2g GSX...

Thanks for the help!:thumb:

There are also companies that sell "o2 simulators" that allow you to not run a rear o2 sensor.
