why does my car shake like crazy when i brake?

If I understand correctly, you're saying it shakes when it brakes? If so then it is just your pads and/or rotors. Mine used to do that too.

Tires or rotors, if the rotors are warped it will shake like hell when braking especially at high speeds, uneven rotor surface causes that.

Just because the rotors are new doesn't mean they're still good. He could have Warped them the first time he drove it.

A lot of people when they get new brakes go out and JAM on the brakes and do 100 to 0 MPH stops?!? This is NOT what you want to do on new brakes.

When you install brakes you need to let the Pads and everything "BREAK IN" and SEAT properly. Its best to do some NORMAL slow driving and pump the brakes so you dont OVERHEAT them.

I have had BAD experience with the STOCK DSM brakes and WARPAGE ...I would suggest trying a Drilled and sloted rotor with FACTORY OEM Pads...thats seems to be a nice combo

If your car is still shaking you may want to check you front CV axles and suspension components
