[RESOLVED] Passenger Side Oil Plug?!?!?

I have a 1990 Eclipse GST, Just got it put together, went to start it. It started but then started shotting oil out of the passenger side of the front block under the valve cover. Shut the car off and noticed theres a threaded hole where a plug or line would go. Does anyone have any idea what this goes to? I have pictures but can't get them to load right now.

The oil feed line for the turbo is supposed to be bolted there with a banjo fitting. If you are feeding the turbo from the oil filter housing, a plug from a n/t 4g63 works perfect to seal the hole in the head.

yeah i seen that there suppose to be a bolt there. I ran my oil line from my turbo to a fitting inder the block, looks like where the stock on might have bolted to perhaps?

Where do you have your Oil Feed coming from?
Try to post a picture of that. If it coming from the oil filter then i believe you can just plug that hole off. I have my Oil Feed coming from the Filter so i'll run outside right now and check to see what's going on in my engine for that hole.

EDIT: I just ran out and looked and mine has a plug in it. It has a 14mm sized head I believe.

We have the oil line running from the top of the turbo adpater to under the car in the oil pan.

I'm not familiar with running the line like that. But it's very possible that it could work. You most certainly need to plug that hole though (given that you current oil feed is a sufficient way to route it). It may even requite a cooper crush washer as well.

If Im not mistaken this person is running there oil line the same way. (theres is a bit diff but its in the same area)
