I'm trying to find a diagram or picture or somebody who can tell me exactly how my starter should be hooked up. I have three wires total although Ive heard I should only have two. One has a red rubber cap the other is similiar but without cap and the third is small black with yellow stripe and fits on the spade terminal on starter this is called signal wire I believe (pictured below). Now I just found out this smalled one has been cut and I dont know where it orginated from. Ive heard it connects to starter switch but I dont even know where that damn thing is. Can somebody help me please:confused:

i need help w/ this too.

there's a wire coming out of the starter. Short black wire. Then a black w/ yellow coming out of the wiring harness. Then a wire w/ a red cap. ]

Where do they go?

A very large black/red with a ring connector on it goes on the starter stud under a nut which is covered by the red cap (this comes from battery positive so disconnect battery while connecting everything). The black/yellow in your picture goes on the starter spade with the other end onto pin 4 (middle pin) of the starter relay (which is the one to the right behind the radio - the other relay is the power door lock).
