My car is bone stock, the plan is a REAL EVO III 16g. The question i have is what other supporting mods do i need, i know injectors for sure but what should i go with, EVO 560's or just 660's. Then fuel pumps, the plan was walbro 255 or is that a little bit much maybe just the 190. I don't plan on going much bigger then this set up. I know some one will tell me go get a fmic but i would like to hard pipe to the smic, but if that will do more harm then good please let me know. Iam kinda new at this and would like all the help i can get so please speak your mind.

If you go with a walbro 255, then you need a Fuel pressure regulator, the 190 might be fine without a regulator though. 560cc are enough for the 16g, but if you want more room to grow in the future you might want to go bigger, like 650. You also need something to tune with, like an safc, dsmlink, a chip. The safc is the cheapest route, but they can only control 650cc at maximum. You might want to pickup a logger to log data and tune and a wideband if you have the extra money to spend. The FMIC is always a good addition, but not really necessary if you are not going to run for long periods of time. The problem with a SMIC is that it heatsoaks pretty fast due to its size. Good luck. :thumb:

say i go with the 190, and some FIC ball-style 750's. Then what is the deal with the logger and the wide band if you have a few minutes could you explain please. thanks for the help

For 750cc injectores, you might want to look into a walbro 255, along with an FPR. I sent you a PM explaining you about the wideband/logger.

560ccs will be ok with the Evo3 as long as you dont plan on maxing out the turbo.
Other things needed :255 Walbro, FPR, FMIC, Safc, boost controller, wideband , datalogger and gauges.

I'm planning on a gm maf but not sure how big of injectors it will support. A FMIC is in the works and the boost controller is on the way. Do I really have to have the 255 though I was figuring on the 190 giving me enough for around 21 22 psi. With the gm maf would I really need loggers or wide band, I'm not looking for an extremely fine tune, just what i need so theres no fuel cut, and its not rich as hell.

Loggers and widebands are data devices not tuning devices. You can´t tune with no data available, unless you send the car to a dyno or you have a friend with a logger or wideband. a walbro 255 is to feed injectors depending on its size, not to raise boost. A walbro 190 will be enough for 550-650cc injectors. Good luck.

Alright i have been doing some research, change of plans. I still want the EVO III 16g with matching manifold, and o2 housing, but i would like to go with a fmic that supports at least 400-450, dsmlink for a tuner, and a logger. I'm also planning on an aem wideband, now the question is if i got the dsmlink with fic 750's what fuel pump do i go with i know this has been explained before but i don't plan on maxing them out and i don't think the turbo could, so could I use the 190 instead of the 255. The reason i ask is i have a friend that is going to give me a deal on a 190, dsmlink with 750's as default, and the set of fic ball style 750's. With that in mind, and with the right tune i should be able to use the injectors with the smaller fuel pump, as long as i don't try going past the flow of a set of 650's right.

I knew that it was a logger and a tuner, i was getting at my fuel pump issue, but thanks for the input.

does anyone have an answer for my question?

You can't go wrong with a walbro 255, afpr, and a dsm link. You will end up spending more and it won't run as well as if you did it this way from the start. This set up will also allow you the ability to do more upgrades later. I say go with bigger injectors while you are at it.

:dsm:

You would be fine running those mods with the 190. But as mentioned you would be better off with the 255 and a afpr. If you ever wanted to upgrade later to a bigger turbo and to save money in the long run if you do upgrade down the road.
