OK i have searched and found nothing. i have the plug and play, i have read that you need a ground for the tt. but mine is taped into the harness with the to plugs. my question is should i untap that ground it and does the ebrake switch have to be connected for it to work? the reason i am asking is because when i plug it in i turn the key to the on position it starts automatically and keeps wanting to turn over and nothing turns on on the tt.

OK first things first. Its Greddy, Not Greedy. (not mocking you, but I couldn't find the site I was looking for till I respelled it) Yes the Parking Break Needs to Be engaged for it to work, You don't want to leave your car running without protection from it rolling off. (its the same way on in car DVD head units) Also you want it to be grounded. All I suggest is Read the manual

Haha, I don't even think you need the manual for the plug-n-play. Just pop the dash and you should see right where it connects on the ignition wiring. Never grounded mine or hooked up the speed sensors and it worked fine. And the E-Brake does not have to be engaged for the TT to work, as long as it's in neutral it should work just fine. Though I hope you'd never leave your DSM in neutral w/o the E-Brake (BYE BYE DSM!.....See ya on the other side of town!....HAHA :thumb:). So i know this sounds kinda dumb, but did you try pressing the power button on the TT? The GReddy TT doesn't turn on automatically with the ignition the first time you use it. Hope this helps...

Appreciate the shot you took at it MadDog, but try not to give advice on the tuners unless you're confident with your answers. Don't just say read the manual.

My thought wasn't Just Read the manual and leave it at that. Electronics need to be grounded. Not necessarily so it works ok, but so its grounded from electrical spikes, surges etc. anything that can be fried by static usually will be. The reason I suggest reading all your manuals.(not just this one) is that, it is there for a reason. I know the install is easier than an Ikea bookshelf, but a proper install insures the longevity of your turbo. I don't care how many parts you've installed or cars you've tuned. If you don't know everything about the part you are installing you know nothing.
