question about how much boost.

ok i have a 98gsx venolia pistions eagle rods remachinced crankshaft and such. . fpbig28 turbo ingen intake hks catback. stock fuel system. its going in on monday to get the safc controller put in and tuned what do you guys think i will be pushing?

That AFC won't do squat on a stock fuel system. It will be good to have, but you will have nothing to adjust for. If you are on stock fuel, you should be running stock boost. Especially with a slightly larger turbo.

Yeah the point of getting a controller is to adjust the fuel system if you put in bigger injectors and whatnot.

well my problem right now is before i get it tuned. its running complety rich. full tank ill get like 150miles.

Well, the stock tune for WOT is about 9:1 A/F. A few things that would make it worse would be a bad o2 sensor and also boost leaks somewhere in your intake tract. But, that 9:1 goes away REAL quick when you add more air. So if you have a full intake and exhaust with an upgraded turbo, it is already running leaner then that 9:1 on stock boost levels. There really isn't anything to tune with the AFC. If you can, grab a set of larger injectors and a 190 fuel pump and then you can tune to your hearts desires. Injectors because you don't want your injector duty cycles to be too high and it will allow you to run more boost due to the new found fuel flow (not crazy amounts, but more) and a fuel pump to keep the pressure stable when the boost rises.

ok now let me ask this. if i get it tuned on monday with what i have set up now. then in two weeks i get injectors n fuel pump my tune is gonna be messed up isnt it? so im gona have to get it retuned?

That is correct you will have to re-tune. I would reschedule your session for 2 weeks from now.
