Hi All
I just had a brand new stage 2 competition clutch and an ACT streetlite flywheel installed in my car. The issue is that when the car is cold, everything is fine, it grabs pretty close to the floor, it has all sorts of power, and shifts great. All i have to do is think about it, and its in the next gear. I have been driving it easy, breaking in the clutch, but after it gets warm, it starts to slip like no other. If i am in second gear, and i roll on to it, the RPM shoot for the rev limiter, and the car doesnt go anywhere. Even if i don't do that, after a longer drive, then when i try and start, like at a light, i feel like i have no clutch. i have no way of defining an engage point, and it just slips, and i can barly get it going, and if i don't move the gas peddle very very small distances at a time, it just slipps again. I had it back to the place that installed it yesterday, and they adujsted cuase i thought the peddle was engaging too far out, and it was fine for about 12 hours, and now its doing it again
The car is now back with the mechanic again, but i thought i would check in with my DSM friends, cuase they are just as confused as I am.
I know that was kinda confusing, but i am not sure how else to descipe it
Thanks!
