i installed a mbc and a boost gauge so i could start controlling my boost but my boost will not go over 12 psi i have no control at all right now my wastegate is staying set at 12 psi not letting me go above or below with the controller im still using the stock t25 on a 2g gst and am wondering what problems there could be why i cant control my boost i have tried 2different boost controllers and same thing happens help please

Make sure that everything is connected right and you have no leaks. I don't know what brand MBC you've got but to make sure just go to Hallman booscontrolers site and recheck everything again. There is no obvious reason for MBC not to work.

also make sure you have your boost gague tapped in the correct spot. i tapped my first gague AFTER the 2g BOV and everything leaked off so i thought my mbc was "broken." because of this, my t25 ended up broken.

get a crushed 1g bov or aftermarket or tap your gague before the valve

ok i have it hooked to the j pipe on the turbo for my vac/boost source then to the wastegate acuator its the voodoo boost controller maybe i should go from my blow off valve for vaccum/boost

Replace your stock BOV. It's leaking, that's why you can't boost past 12 psi.

^ Exactly. The BOV needs to be the second thing you put on the car, right after the boost gauge.

Also, there's no need to crush the 1g BOV for a T-25. The T-25 won't make enough boost to need crushing (actually, there's no need to crush a 1g BOV at all, unless you're just trying to ruin it).

After you replace your probably-leaking BOV, do a proper boost leak test to find your other boost leaks, which you undoubtedly have.
