just wanted to give an update on the car with some problems I had that I now fixed that will probably help out more then one person.
After installing my 3kvr4 fuel pump I had to adjust safc settings to ver 20+% when the stock pump was only at 13-15% and the car had an extremely long crank and I would have to prime the car 10-15 seconds to start it only to have horrible driveability under w.o.t and after testing and sealing my fpr the fuel pressure would rise a few pounds over stock and quickly drop to 20psi.
I ordered a 255 thinking it might have been a defective pump and went to install it to find that the rubber line connecting the pump to the sending unit was ruptured.
F.Y.I= make sure the line your using is fuel injection hose and it is not kinked, if its not marked fuel injection don't trust it.
I also had a weird issue with the car that only happened a handle of times that when the brake pedal was pressed the check engine light would illuminate and the radio, safc, and wideband would shut off and reset quickly. Safc voltage readout would dip below 9.5 volts while doing this. While mentioning this to a friend he mentioned to check for a bad ground connection and with the vehicle running I found the negative battery cable was loose and removed it from the battery. I reached inside and hit the brakes to watch the problem duplicate over and over as I pressed and released the brake pedal.
So my lesson learned- make sure the battery cables are tight. It may sound stupid but it was my first time seeing something like that although Im sure im not the only one.
