Ok so last weekend i got my timing belt/water pump changed....all that good stuff. Next day i got it back i noticed it idled like crap..but the car pulled alittle harder. So a few days later i got the timing adjusted and i lost that little "umph"...so what happened?

what happened is they didn't account for the exhaust gear movement when setting the timing the first time.

The cas might have been advanced some and that is why you had more power. Call and ask the shop if it was base timing they adjusted.

ok i called the shop today and they said they adjusted both cam and base timing....they said the cam timing was off a few teeth...so now what

how do i retard the exhaust cam only?
