Hey, I just got some Eclipse taillights because I'm planning to do the Talon to Eclipse conversion. I looked through the box but they didn't come with the gaskets. The guy I bought them off of (Ebay) continues to insist that there are no such thing as taillight gaskets and that he "works on cars 10 times a day and never sees taillight gaskets", yada yada. I swear there are (know a few people who have shown me their lights and have seen the two gaskets) so if anyone can help me prove that Eclipses do have taillights I would very well appreciate it. Pics are definitely preferred...

Well, the tail lights did not come with the gaskets..
I don't wanna' leave negative feedback nor open a 'item not as described' dispute so I'm hoping you can do something about this.
Basically can you send me the gaskets or something of an alternative to remedy the situation?

eclipse cars...let alone all newer cars do not have gaskets.. they bolt in...and what u have is everything that was unbolted from the car...
i am a auto body collision spiecalist..all day long i deal with this kinda stuff...believe me ..there are no gaskets...like i said they come with everything....
u got 350 dollar tail lights...

ME:Yes, I know they bolt in but the gaskets seat between the taillights and the body...So it is very important that I have those gaskets which is the reason why I'm "bothering you". I know many other people with Eclipses and have showed me their taillights and they have gaskets between the tails and body.
So, like I said please remedy the situation especially since you did state "they come with everything"...

i havent seen gaskets on taillight since the 70's!.
i havent seen a gasket on a 95-99 eclipse from factory...OEM!..

350 dollar tail lights...that are in good shape...came directly off a original 98 30,000 mile eclipse...never had gasket.

CLIFFS: Bought Eclipse Tails to do the Talon conversion but the tails didn't come with the gaskets that seat between the plastic of the tails and the body. Seller is trying to say that there is no such thing as Eclipse taillight gaskets and that all "newer" cars don't come with taillight gaskets...I beg to differ and know that they do b/c if they didn't the plastic housing would be chipped up and wouldn't seat properly after a while. So if anyone can help me out, I'd appreciate it. Pics are definitely a plus in this situation...
