Hey there everyone Im new to the DSm and Im just lookn for a View of a Eclipse GsX owner that has gone through alot of problems and how to slove and what is the best solution this and that just a Little help you know get me started and ill know what to do before hand so i dont run into the same trouble

yea i get what your saying but like I mean major problems of a GSX and if read is the solution which topics should i start on

Thats like asking. Before I open my eyes what color is the sky going to be? It's just like any car. Anything can go wrong with it.

Honestly, I've got a GSX and what I do is just go through the newbie forums and read any topic that sounds interesting. "Blue smoke from tailpipe?" Read it. "big 16g vs evo3 16g", read that. "Weird noise coming from passenger section?" Definitely!

Keep reading, it's like looking at a bunch of case studies. It's annoying when the OP never posts what was wrong and how it got fixed, but even the other posts suggesting potential causes and fixes is worth reading.

But asking "What kind of things go wrong, how do I fix them, in general?" is akin to saying "How do I sum up the entire newbie forums, and some of the advanced topics, in one thread?"

It canna' be done! Just start reading the threads. Or for a crash course, buy an old GSX and just start looking up the symptoms you have. You'll learn a lot that way :)

This is GREAT advice! I started looking at this forum a few weeks before I got my Talon but once you get the car you do get a crash course. I have solved SO many problems with this site, its AMAZING what searches yeld. Before I got my car I talked to a friend who told me "DSM problems are well documented and easily fixed" and he was right. I have been on many forums and NEVER had one be as helpful as this one.
