do you need to remove the stock fuel pressure solenoid when you install a aeromotive FPR? i know their is a vacuum line on the top of the aeromitve FPR. do you need to run the vacuum line off the stock fuel pressure regulator or remove that and just run a vacuum line to it?

i know you have to remove the stock fuel pressure regulator. im talking about the fuel pressure solenoid

Crap. Man, it's way too early. :coy:

As for the vacuum lines running to the FPS - they need to stay there unless you can go emissions exempt (or don't have emissions) and want to clean up all the vacuum lines.

The solenoid itself needs to stay plugged in unless you have a way to keep the ECU from throwing a CEL, such as DSMlink which will allow you to remove the solenoid (along with others).

I just removed mine along weith the other solenoids next to it. If you have a 1g it shouldn't throw a cel, mine didn't anyway.
