My old 6 bolt had some kinks in it that would take more to fix than its probably worth (not that my 1g isn't the most valuable thing on the planet
) but the part of the block where the tranny bolted to the engine (by the clutch slave) was broken off and finding someone to weld cast iron WITH threading posed more problems for me. Therefore i found a nice longblock jdm 6 bolt for a flat g with a 5sp tranny (not great but not bad) and invited a friend over with a cherry picker and pulled out the engine in it now. A little side question is should i get a new cv boot or axel (sometimes boots cost more to get done than just a re manufactured cv) anyways.. here are some pics. btw the quality is bad cause its on my phone camera

and it only costed me 65$ or so at O`Rileys for a whole driver side replacement. Not bad.
