So i just bought a 99 Eclipse GST. It ran fine for a few days and all of a sudden I noticed I didn't have the amount of power it did when I bought it. A CEL came on and came up with injector 3 circuit malfunction. So I changed the injector out and still not firing. Check to see if I was getting power from the plug and got nothing.

I don't know if its wiring or an ECU problem. I thought about trying to splice a wire from an injector that is getting power but someone told me it wouldn't work because no other injector would fire at the same time.

I'm completely lost as of right now and would like to get it fixed ASAP as I'm going to HIN in Chicago and want to have all the power that I had when I first got the car.

i don't wanna bring back an old post but it ending up being the injector resistor pack, i found one from a friend that had a extra one and swapped it out and it's working fine now

I had this same problem about 3 months ago, it was that stupid resistor pack thing that's on the firewall. good luck.

im not sure if my car has one of those as i cannot find it and i cant find any auto part stores that have anything like the resistor pack

Its behind the intake manifold along the firewall... and i'm pretty sure the only way to get one now is either from mitsubishi themselves or from a donor car... i got mine off a part out car, good luck.:thumb:
