:laser:Ok guys i need some help im swaping out my old 420a engine with a nother one and i pretty much done with everything except the camshafts. Cause the camshafts on the new engine dont look so good.

Q: can I switch the camshaft and and cam gears along with lash lifter without having a problem?

Which ever cams you use, you should use which lifter/follower that was touching them. If you dont, or if they are scored in any way, they might get worn fast or flat spot the cam lobe.
Why do you think cam break-in is so important?
Make sure you keep cam caps exactly where they were as well.
