Ok this is a complete noob question, but today I went out to replace the fuel filter, only to find the bottom 14 mm nut is pretty rounded off so I plan to use vice grips to try to get it off so I need someone to tell me, If I'm standing at the passenger side fender do I push the the vice grip towards the timing belt or pull towards me to loosen that bolt? Ya I know, I'm thing its right also but would greatly appreciate it if someone explains it to me as push away or pull towards. Thanks

If you are trying to get the bottom one off, you would pull towards you. anytime the bolt is on the bottom you are going to do the oposite of what you did on top( or would do on top). So again in this case you would turn it towards you if you are standing on the passenger side.

Thanks guys, that worked perfectly. Although it was still a pain even with vice grips, ton of wd40, and still very time consuming, almost took over an hour just to get that 14 mm nut off. However its done and hopefully I don't have to worry about it for a very long time.
