I am using a 1st gen DSM BOV on my turbo Honda. (yeah yeah I know, honda's suck... blah blah blah.)
Anyway, I did the "Dodge Garage" mod and drilled an atmospheric reference port into the BOV so that it would hold higher boost without leaking.
Everywhere I keep reading says that you can pipe the newly made reference nipple into a boost source if you want to use the BOV's stock, "quick release" feature.
Why would I want to do this? Does the BOV when it's in "non leak mode" not release pressure fast enough?
