Port Moody,
So i had my diff go a while ago and am in fwd.... Yeah ive had enough... My question is can you put a 97 LSD diff in place of the 95 Diff.... I tryed searching but couldnt see anything...

This is a tough thing to find the for sure answer to. When I was doing my 5 speed swap i researched this heavily. From what I understood, if you can't use it, your axles won't fit.

Some are locking, unlocking, LSD, non LSD, etc. Make sure that your new rear diff is from the right car. If your car is a 5 speed, you need a 5 speed rear diff. The gears are different for the 5 speed and auto.

I forget the cutoff year, but I think no due to a final drive difference with the tranny. You'd need the transmission and transfer case to match.

From all that I have read only the transmission and transfer cases where changed, all the 2G rears have the same gear ratios. You need a 95-96 trans with a 95-96 x-fer case, and 97-99 must go with 97-99.
