Ok ive looked through the forums but couldnt find much that matched exactly. The problem im having is my 1st and 2nd gear are real tough to get into. Either from a stop or moving.

It initially started yesterday when i was driving down the hill to my house i put it in neutral and cruised i came to a stop got my mail and when i went to go again the shifter wouldnt even move over. It finally did but then wouldnt move into first or 2nd gear. After messing with it for awhile it finally goes in to first and second. Its been working but is just harder to go into 1st and 2nd than it used to be.

Its not slipping out and sometimes i have to release the clutch and roll forward a bit for it to slide into first all the way. 3rd 4th 5th and reverse work fine. It also is not stalling at any point and really there is nothing else out of the ordinary going on. Everything else is running as usual. I was thinking maybe the 1st and 2nd shift fork but im looking for all possible problems that may cause this.

Thats pretty much exactly whats goin on if any other info is needed let me know i tried to give as much as possible. Please help any info is greatly appreciated. Also if you have any type of pricing average for this type of thing to be fixed if its something i cant do. Im not good with trannys. Thanks.

yea thats what im worried about is synchros or fork im just fishing hoping its something else haha you know how it is just praying its something simple.

Also synthetic oil and tranny has about 15K miles on it. Its a reman tranny

check the shifter cables bushings, it has low millage so it cant be synchros or shift fork ,if done right.

ok somethnig new came up when starting in first the car was def in 1st gear i went to go and it slipped out. This may have been unrelated but it happened but only happened one time
