wastegate question

since i bought my car with all the mods already done, i have a question about the wastegate actuator: does each aftermarket turbo come with its own wastegate actuator? When i bought my car, the 16g was brand new, as was the wastegate actuator, so i am wondering if the actuator came with the turbo. also, if the actuator doesnt come with the turbo, what effect does the stock actuator have on a MBC? you can control the boost all you want, but if the actuator still opens at the same pressure, then you arent actually making any more power, right? Im a little confused here...

some come with a new actuator and some dont. As far as boosting on it, it will act like any stock wastgate should. for example the one that came on your car factory. The mbc trick the wastegate to think it is only boosting to 8-12psi( stock 14b) when in realtiy it is boosting to 16 or 17 psi.
