I was wondering which fpr to run on an AEM rail? I wanted to know who has had the best luck with any kind of rail. My current fuel mods are 850's, DSMlink, walboro 255, AEM Rail. Any help would be appreciated.

Don't know about your specific rail, but have heard good things about the SARD FPR, and I have one of those in my car now.

The Aeromotive fuel rail / Aeromotive A1000 FPR combination seems to work really well. With your setup though i would think you would need an AEM universal FPR, but i've never installed an AEM rail or FPR. Are you running the oem FPR fitted to your AEM rail?? If so you could still run an A1000 w/ install kit. The install kit would allow you to mount the A1000 on the firewall. It would run a -6 AN SS feed line back to the rail with an aluminum fitting attached to the rail. Does your rail have the stock style fitting end on it?? If so, that would come with the install kit.

I dont have my rail on yet. I wanted to do it all at once. I read the AEM rail has been pretapped for 6AN and 8AN and the stock one will bolt right on.

I have an AEM fuel rail, and i used the Aeromotive 13109. It works great and i have had no problems with it. I have a picture of it mounted on my car posted here on dsmtuners so you can check it out if you want.

Unfortunatly that is not correct. I was under the impression that the AEM fuel rail was pretapped for -6an as well, but once i got it i learned that you need to buy a kit from AEM that adapts the rail to -6an. I found it was cheapest to get the adapters from AEM directly.

I dont get why you rerouted it back to the regulator.

The picture makes it look like it is rerounted back to the regulator but it is not. I just posted 2 more pictures of the fuel system so you can see how it is routed. The line with the inline filter is coming from the tank, and it goes directly to the fuel rail. the line that comes off the drivers side of the fuel rail goes to the side port on the FPR, and the line that attaches to the bottom of the FPR is the fuel return line that i currently have hooked up to the stock return line. hopefully the pictures will make things a little more clear to you. :dsm:
