so I have DSM link sitting in my room. I was wondering if anyone knew if the chip in the box is already base mapped for the injectors and everything or if i had to do it manually?? Will the car start and run fine if I just put the injectors and chip in until I have time to tweak it??

That depends on the chip defaults. If you had default injector size on the chip set for the injectors that you are going to install then you should be fine. Make sure you swap the 1-3 and 2-4 plug wires and invert the cam angle signal and you should be good. If the injector chip default is different from what is installed then go to the global fuel and adjust accordingly; can be done very quickly and further tweaking can be done later.

I got the chip for 750cc injectors and have the injectors, just wornderin if i can jus plug in the chip and put the injectors in and drive the car. do i swap the plug wires at the coil pack or cylinders and what do you mean invert the cam angle sensor?? swap the top and bottom wires and leave the midle one alone?

If the chip is programmed for 750's and you have 750's in your car, you don't have to adjust anything in DSMlink to drive it.

You should swap the plug wires at the coil pack.

If your chip was programmed right, the Invert CAS button should be checked by default. But, to make sure, connect to your ECU and click ECU/Logfile > Miscellaneous and make sure the Invert CAS button is darker.

Do you have a socketed ECU already or what? Otherwise when you have it installed it should start up and run fine, if you have your defaults set correctly.(like already stated) If you want to check, you can hook up your laptop and your cable and turn the key to ON or whatever, so everything has power but not cranking over. Then you can adjust things with your laptop, before you turn your car on.

As already stated it will be fine for cruisig. It won't be fine for going wot all the time though.

But you shouldn't "just drive it". You should log your fuel trims and make sure everything is right first. I hate it when people post in DSMLink wondering why their car runs like crap and all they've done is plug and play. If all you want is something that is plug and play, then don't waste you money on DSMLink - get a Keydriver chip instead. The problem is with 450cc injectors, if they are off by 5% (because of wrong fuel pressure, for example), the amount of error isn't that much (about 23cc). But the bigger the injector, the more impact small things can have on their actual flow.

That is true, but some people don't know how DSMlink works necessarily. They think it may be like AEM EMS where you can't plug 'n play with it, but have to have it installed and then setup/tuned right away before you can drive it. The original post stated:

And that's what I was going off of when I posted. But yes, I totally agree that you should take the extra 10 or 20 minutes after you install to idle, rev, and cruise tune the car at least. It's not hard and doesn't take much time.
