Ok this is going to sound like a stupid question but I havnt found an answer to, Does the stock manifold turbo flange need to be ported to hook up a fp3565? If no if i port the flange on the manifold and turbo will I see any better spool time?

The FP turbine housing will come in a 7cm exhaust housing. You should port your stock 2G manifold. Get a 7cm gasket to figure out how much porting to you need to do.

An EVO exhaust manifold can be ported too, the GT manifold comes ported to a 7cm gasket so does the FP cast manifold.

that is one beautiful turbo!! it gives me a turboner as well. I wish Forced Performace would give more information about their turbos. I know that they make Awsome turbos, but i want to see some compressor maps, or at least some info on how many lb/min they flow. I'm just wondering how the FP3065 compares to the GT3582R, and FP's webside give very little helpful data.

Ummm somethings wrong with me! I dont get boners from turbos...just chics haha

The 3565 is the exact same thing as a GT3582R, just with the FP housing instead of a Garrett T3 or T4. The 3065 is the GT35R compressor wheel on a GT30 turbine.

So the FP3065 should spool up faster than the GT35R?

jwcardy, don't worry, i don't actually get a boner from turbos, LOL. its more figuratively speaking.

I'm not sure how well the GT35R will flow, but I'm well aware of the FP3065 and what it can do. :thumb:

My FP3065 on a Stroker Motor spools full boost at about 4400rpm and from then out on, it's nothing short of amazing.
The 3065 can flow 65 lbs/min, and I truley believe I can push the limits of 700hp with this turbo. We'll see soon! :thumb:

Well worth every penny, I don't care what anyone says.

Sup mike it's Aaron. And yes that 3065 is an AMAZING turbo but if any of you guys are thinking about a 35R then check out FP's 3582HTA turbo. It spools faster and makes a lot more power than the standard GT35R BB turbo.

I really like FP's 3582HTA. I would buy it in a heartbeat if it wasn't $1699! i just simply cant afford that right now. but if i did have money, that is where i would spend it.

What's up man?
I have to say that one, if you already own the FP3065, stick with it. I think we've had this conversation before, the 3582HTA is on bad ass dude, but not worth an upgrade from the FP3065.

If you own the FP3065, and want to do bigger and better things, then your really at a point where things are getting serious. At this level, you must know what your doing, and have some serious supporting mods. Go on up and get it. :thumb:

Go for that 88mm or GT42R, something that's really goona push some wind. A GT35R has very similar characteristics to the 3065. Don't waste your money on another turbo that's not going to flow much more.

Either way, for most people, either of these turbos will flow more than your powerplant can even handle, so it's definitely a good choice. :thumb:

Oh and to all you out there who want to complain about Forced Performance's prices, and "so-called" over-prices.... I have one thing to say:

"You get what you paid for"

You know a good buddy of mine, and I were talking about this.

When you polish a compressor housing, or anything for that matter, you inadvertently effect it ability to dissipate heat.

It looks good, but you change the characteristics of the metal and it doesn't release heat as easy.

The FP's 3582HTA turbo is only T3 right or is it available in Mitsu housing? Aniel told me this "We are changing names all the time our newest set of turbos are on here Forced Performance: FP Turbochargers You can get them with our FP DSM housings theyre cast housings so they dont need porting."
So im guessing yes but havn't seen anyone with one.

I'm not sure dude?
I was always under the impression with FP you could just go V-Band? Guess not?
I'm going to call them today and find out. I'll let you know what they say.
I saw the photos, which only displayed the T3 setup. Hmmm.

Just go with the DSM FP88HTA Ball Bearing Turbocharger, for the same price! ROFL
Just buy some NOS to spool that baby up! ROFL

Idk the more I look at the GT3582HTA the sexier it gets. Damn you FP you have so many great turbo's LOL

how much lag does it have, it dosnt say what rpm it spools up at and I dont have time to research it since im bouncing from work can you spoon feed me on this one?

Haven't found much on this turbo besides its pretty much a gt37r. But according to garretts numbers it isn't that impressive. 350-550HP
