So i blew my 16g this past weekend, and ive been doing alot of shopping. I was thinking a 20g, or something equivelant. My set-up as of now is: wiseco pistons and rods, stock head, ported exhaust mani, 3" turbo back, big spearco fmic with hard piping, cruched 1g bov, 580cc injectors, 255 fuel pump rewired, and aeromotive afpr. Any personal preferances/experiences that may help me decide?

You have a built motor, which is good but your at the point of no return. How big do you want to go.

Either way you go you are going to need injectors. 580cc and a 20g won't mix. ARP head studs will be needed also if your on stock gasket and stock studs.

I always like the pump gas queen, a bolt on 50 trim, PTE 60-1, 30r, or look into borg warner turbos. These will be a nice turbo for a pump gas car and will bring you to the 450 wheel hp range while keeping you reliable. But you have a nice set of rods and pistons so maybe the next few turbos are more your taste.

Big mamajams like fp3065, 35r, t70, and other would be great with your internals. Add some cams and I smell top end beast.

I don't like using an afc over 650s but I am sure others will and have had success. So I would look into a chip to reprogram what your ecu sees as far as injector sizes, while also ajusting rev limiter and 2 stepa nd a few other goodies. This requires a ep-rom ecu. I would get link though, hands down it's the best.

you already have the motor pretty stout, now is the time to make the investment, dsmlink, bigger injectors and a worthwhile turbo.. As soon as my car is back on the road I plan on maxing out the 16g then going to an fp3065 and maxing out my stock block

How big do you wanna go?
You can easily make over 400 Whp on FP green and pump gas. And a 660's would be adequate for this turbo. You will need some form of engine management. It spools fast it is reliable and you know: the FP turbos are expensive but very efficent.

Dont bother with the FP3065 its really not a big turbo at all. I would go with at least a 3072r or if you want a little cheaper the pte 60 trim and 60-1 are pretty good but spool like dogs.

What are your goals? Faster spool and decent power or slower spool and gobs of power. Even thought I have a 2.3L stroker, I'm very satisfied with my 50trim (read, smaller turbo, 450hp tops), it spools fast and I can still break all the tires free :)

there are so many turbos that fit your needs it's insane! My go to would be a set of 780 or 880cc injectors and a PTE SCM50. It will fit great into your over all build, offer great spool and make the power you want and have more room to grow.

Let me know if you have any other questions, I'd be more than happy to help you out.

The FP Green will definitely do what you want it to, another turbo I would consider (and plan on purchasing next year) would be the new FP TDO6-SL2 20g, over 700cfm worth of flow, with a reasonable price tag. Also the PTE SCM5031E would be a good choice, and of course the FP 3052 is an AWESOME pump gas turbo, super responsive and enough flow for 500 ish at the wheels, on pump gas if you can tune it right, and have the injectors. What are you tuning with, at this point i think it would be wise to look into DSMLink.

So, if i had to rank these, without taking price into consideration.

1. 3052
2. Green
3. 20g SL2
4. 5031E

This is all based on my opinion, take it or leave it.
