Ok, so i have been looking at threads untill my eyes are soar, and PMing vendors all across the land, but i wanted to throw out a thread to get more of a general consensus
from my DSM friends
I have a 95 GS-T and I am just starting to get in to it for mods. The clutch has been feeling weak for a while now, and with the power levels I am hoping to reach by the end of the summer, I don't think an OEM replacemet is going to cut it. I want something that is going to be snappy, but not kill the car as a daily driver. I am sitting pretty at 220whp, as of the dyno from last summer, and I am hoping to reach just above 300. I don't do a whole ton of Drag, a pass or 2 at the local track every once in a while, but I am pretty heavy into the Auto-X scene.
I have been looking at ACT and Competition for the clucth, and all but decided on the ACT Streetlite Flywheel. From what I have been reading is that the ACT2100 or 2600 is the way to go, but I am not sure what the translates into on ACT actual site, they seem to use a completely different catagorizing system.
Thanks all
Tony
