Turbo seals.. pictures of inside turbo

I've posted about a smoking problem and when I checked for shaft play I had a ton in ALL directions but the fins are still fine. I've been smoking and losing ALOT of oil. About a quart per 100 miles. I pulled the turbo and I don't really see much WET oil.

I'm already aware I need another turbo. There is about 1/4" of play in and out. But I've been told there should be alot of oil and well, there really is no wet oil anywhere.

check your intercooler piping as that is where it may be building up

There was no oil at all in the lower pipe. There was a film of oil in the intake pipe, nothing excessive though.

I just went and pulled the IC pipe that connects to the throttle body and there was a ton of oil in there. From both sides. There was a stream into the TB.

Pull the LICP off the intercooler with an oil drain pan underneath. That's the lowest point in the intake tract.

Did that, and nothing came out

I'm picking up a new turbo tomorrow and throwing it on so I should know within 24 hours if thats my issue or not. I pray it is!
