SPark plug wires help.

Hey guys I just got new spark plug wires for my 92' GSX and I installed them to the manual's specs and my car is very sluggish now, the RPM's will barely even go up. I installed them in this order. Anyone have any suggestions?

That's what I'm finding with search. Maybe the coil pack is bad. Do a search on how to test it.

yeah I heard a little clicking before it started up.

It should be:

Coil pack 4-1-2-3 (from left to right when looking at it from the drivers side)
Valve cover 4-3-2-1-timing belt (when looking at it from the front)

He has that, just his numbers are shifted.

His=Yours
2=1
3=2
4=3
1=4

I was confused on that for a second too.

yeah sorry I got the numbers backwards. forgot that 1 was closest to timing belt . But if the coil pack was bad could that make it sluggish? I get like no response

Ah, ok. That's a weird way of typing it.

What plugs do you have and what are they gapped to?

I didn't change the plugs because advance gave me un-gapped and My gap tool is at the shop. could the old plugs with new wires be a problem? it was only temp til i got to the shop.

Make sure you have the wires pressed all the way down onto the plugs. Likewise with the pack. Maybe you just have a bad connection. You can check the ohms of each. I don't know how or the numbers you should get. Someone else can fill those in.

I'll do that. I'll pop them out in the morning and make sure each is connected good. Then should I let her run a few before attempting to move it? Also on a side note I installed a B.I.S.S. Screw today too beings it was missing one. it idles fine but with the screw tightened all the way down could that cause it to not go as much too? (doubt but just trying to help illustrate everything)

Sounds as simple as having them plugged in the wrong place. Mine did that when I put them in the wrong fire order, sounded like a go-cart. Luckily I had pics of the engine and could eyeball where the wires were swapped.
