Courtice,
hey, i was just wondering if and where i can get halo/ euro lights for my 1g talon.. i can only find them for the 2g's, also anything else that i can put on my 1g, they seem impossible to find :talon:

wut year and make do you have??

im not sure which 1g models came with the flip ups and which ones came with the regular headlights, im guessing it was a similiar to how their are 2ga and 2gbs though
i have seen them on ebay, but they are only for the 1g's that have regular headlights, not the 1g that have flip ups

good luck finding them tho because im looking through ebay now and not seeing them, but they DID used to have them thats where i got my projectors and i noticed that they had them (this was almost a year ago)

thanks everyone, let me know if you find any.
also im just looking for appearence everything, so if you know any 1g manufacturers please let me know.
I checked ebay but they have limited stuff for 1gs :(

^^^ YEP. There is a black one with the s13 conversion, looks factory. There is a conversion on the popups model to HID on TALK, think he is called ArticTSI. Amazing car.

I hope he doesn't mind.

You can "black them out" a few different ways depending on what you mean:

-you can buy those cheap looking covers, but I wouldn't recommend it
-you can spray tint your headlights, but I wouldn't recommend it
-you can bake your headlights, remove the housings, and paint portions of the insides black. When done correctly, this option looks the best in my opinion. There is a writeup floating around somewhere on this.

sorry, but what do you mean by "bake"? :talon:

Thanks alot man
one more thing, my lights are a little yellow from over time.
what should i use to make them white? they arnt too bad but i think it will come off with somthing

Mothers Mag and Aluminium polish for you head lights. Just rub some on and it will take the yellowing fog off of them. There is nothing wrong with tinting your head lights. The only thing is it is illegal and if you ever decide to remove it the headlights will look like crap.

depends where you live..my last talon i had the headlights completely blacked out and never had any problems although i ran some aftermarket fog lights because i couldnt see very well haha..as long as people can see you the cops shouldnt give you any problems

Funny you ask...there are plenty of Tech articles about that as well. Head over to that section and check them out. I personally have used the 1000 grit and 2000 grit wet sandpaper with rubbing compound to remove the yellowing of headlights. Everyone has their own "method".

and why would you not recommend spray tinting the lights?

I would not recommend it because it weakens the intensity of your headlights. If you are using stock headlights and they are yellow like you mentioned above, they are already pretty dim. You don't want to make them anymore dim by spray tinting them.

Search ebay for 92-94 eclipse headlights and you'll see your 'euro' and 'black' housings. Those are the only housings you should consider. Please. They look great and perform better than your stock housings.
