First I like to say I'm sorry ahead of time for all the stupid/silly questions I'm going to ask not only now but in the future.
I dont know a great deal about the turbo system but I'm trying to educate myself.

Ok, I got my car back from the guy that installed the turbo, but he didnt put it on right.

He said my head gasette blew so I need to replace that, but my question is, should I hear the BOV when I rev up my engine while the car is idiling? With a blown head gasette?

Also, from what he told me Im getting 8psi but only 5 at the end.
How could I be lossing 3psi? He said he looked everywhere for a leak and there was none.
So I dont know what to do about the lost power other then buy a MBC and turn up the boost.

He also put my FMU under the car in the back near the exhaust....I looked at other peoples set up and they put theres near the fuel rail under the hood.

Boy, I'm lost.

If anyone has any advice, any whats so ever, Im very thankful to you.
Ill have lots of more questions latter..:)

I'm attached a few pictures of the turbo set up on my car.
Im trying to line things out.

My Fuel and oil gauge are hooked up wrong, but I think I can hopfully find the answer to how to install them with the handy "search" button on this site. :)
Is there a write up on that with lots of pictures showing how on the internet anywhere?

Oh, and sorry for the spelling....I couldnt get spell check to work.

Holy JB Weld Batman!! Looks like he used JB Weld on the compressor housing inlet instead of a gasket. Which to me isnt a good thing. the last thing you want is a hardened piece of jbweld breaking off and getting sucked into the turbo. Might want to get a air filter for that too. As far as boost falling off at higher rpms, if its similar to a t-25 then that isnt unusual. But as far as not being able to hold a measly 8psi sounds wierd to me. I wouldnt trust this guy to put gas in my car. Id rather wait 2 weeks for a stinking gasket then to mess it up with jbweld.

Oh and also dont worry about not being able to hear the bov when you rev it up. There isnt really any load on the engine thus you are proabably not making enough boost to cause the bov to open. Now if you are driving around and you dont hear anything then I would be worried.
