Oil pooling

This morning I went outside to mess around with my manual boost controller because I wanted to turn the boost up on my new turbo and rebuilt engine that both have 1,000 miles on them at this point. I pop the hood and there's some oil pooling on the engine. There's not alot, the car started fine and I didn't notice any leaking. Does anyone have a clue what it could be? I took it to a shop a few days ago and they told me that the car was in great condition. Just kind of upset by this since I just bought the car.

Oil on the valve cover you mean?

Yes. Sorry, I guess saying it was on the engine was a little bit obvious.

Check oil cap. Mine did that forever. Then one day while looking for a 4g63 or 64 block at a junk yard I remembered to get one. Been dry ever since.

if its the cap that is leaking just bent the tabs a little so that it is tighter on there, however check the rubber gasket on the bottom of the cap to make sure that it is intact and will seal correctly. mine leaked for a long time and thats how i fixed it.
