Is it worth putting a turbo back exhaust (RRE DP + RRE Test Pipe + APEKi N1 to be exact) on a stock engine that only has a manual boost controller, intake, turbo timer and intercooler? That is also a project car that later this year will get a 6 bolt swap and these are just minor upgrades. Also is there a difference between the AWD N1 and FWD N1 exhausts?

Thank you :dsm:

Yes it will help a little bit. They will become a bigger benefit when you upgrade the turbo. I'm not sure about the FWD and AWD exhaust being different.

that would be the best mod to do next from what you have already. with your car being a gst (fwd) you will obviousy have to go with the FWD system.

...difference between the two is the bends in the pipe. There are many diff bends mainly at the downpipe getting around the transfer case and getting around the rear axle

If I was going to do it again, I probably would have left the stock exhaust on, but put on a apexi N1 downpipe and weld in a 3" electronic cut out right after the downpipe. It will look stock, but as soon as you open up the exhaust it sounds like a diesel truck with a turbo spooling all the time even at idle.
