i want to know where to start tuning my eclipse and what parts i have to buy

No need to really tune an N/T until you add a turbo or go with hi compression. We also have very few options in the tuning area. SAFC's don't work for us, we have no ECU mods ( except 97's).

Stuff to do:

1) Maintenance
2) Decide if you are going N/A, Turbo, N2O
3) Buy mods accordingly to your choice

If your going turbo do it right and build a forged motor.
If going N2O 75 wet shot if your motor is in good condition
If N/A, you will only receive response and notice very little power gain

You can use an SAFC to lean things out a bit while NA, but don't expect much of a gain. Look at bullett's profile to see how he has gotten 200whp without boost or nitrous.

Red is otherwise right, the most common NA mods won't yield huge gains. Check out the 2gnt Upgrade Path listed in the Tech area.

Wht does so many people think you cant hook up an AFC to our cars? You can and i have before and so have a lot of others, its not hard directions are on 2gnt.com
