little problem with a 1990 laser

i have a 1.8 sohc in the car now. and i've been looking around for a 4g63 motor to put in it. and every place i've called jdm, junk yards ect.. said that the 2.0 4g63 wouldn't fit in the car.. they said that the mouths lines trannys all different.. but didn't the same year rs and rs turbos come with the 2.0 4g63 motor that i'm looking for.. i would like to know if the 4g63 would bolt into the stock mounts before i buy and build a motor that won't fit into the car..

I'm sorry man your probally not going to get much help on this subject beside people telling you to search. This topic comes up more than once a week. You should be able to find all the information you need from a simple search. Also if your asking us questions about doing a swap you dont have the knowledge to pull it off yet and I would suggest reading alot more.

thats part of the reason i asked this question i've been looking into other site and reading into it but one would say that it can be done with alot of time and patientence, and on others they would say its a straight bolt up minus the ecu and wiring harness and sesnors.. basically not time at all. but nothing inpossible just some things aren't resonable to do. but i'll read more into seems reonable enough for me to buy the motor. people have done it before. thanks for the help..
