can a 2g ac compressor fit a 6 bolt block?

i was wondering if you can put a 2g a/c compressor and a 6 bolt block? i want to do a 2g head and 6 bolt block conversion but i want to keep my a/c from my 2g. will this work?

If you're talking about doing a 6 bolt swap in a 2g you own, yes, the 2g compressor and belts will work.

well no im not putting in a 6 bolt long block. just using a 6 bolt block and using my 2g head. will it still work?

The head has nothing to do with the mounting point of the AC system. So yea, you can use a 6 bolt block with a 2g compressor.

ok so hopefully this is true.. . could i use a 2g compressor on a 6bolt in a 96 talon tsi awd

BlcknspoOln is correct. In fact, all the belts/accessories from your original 2g 7 bolt configuration can be re-installed on a 6 bolt swap with no issues . . .
