So im looking into purchasing an SAFC-2 for my car, im wanting to try to control the fuel a bit bitter then with just an AFPR.

Currently the fuel mods include a 190LPH pump, 450cc's, and an AFPR.

I do have a logger as well, and would like to try to tune the fuel in a bit better, but have been told that the SAFC2 wont work on a 4g63NT car due to the A/F voltage?

What would be my other options? Ive come across a few really good deals on SAFC's and dont want to drop the money on one if its not going to work for my application.

Thanks for any input!

I could be totally wrong, but I don't see why a safc2 wouldn't work and I don't see how the a/f voltage would effect it

I dont really know to much when ot comes to the afc but what can it really do for a N/T other than the obvious, I mean can you get that much more from it unless you have a lot of mods. On another note they say you cant hook an afc to my car at all, a 420a thats a bunch of shit the directions are on 2gnt and i had one hooked to mine and it worked great. So if it can be hooked to my car which it isnt sapose to be able to you should have no problem

well it can help me tune the fuel curve to the RPM, i am leaning out slightly in the higher RPMs and id like to be able to adjust that.

Considering i went from the stock 260cc injectors to 450cc injectors theres a HUGE jump.

Id also like to lean it back a bit at idle as it seems to be idling a bit rich with the HKS 272 Cams.

Ive posted this up on multiple boards and have yet to get a difinitive answer.

Well, im still looking for a good answer besides the answer i got at Talk of, "Just turbo it" or "just sell it"

im completely tired of that respsonse, ive heard it enough times, i just want to be different and stay NT.

then you motor needs 14:1 high compression pistons (running c16 at all times) and you have to have an awesome valvetrain and have it rev out to 10 :)

btw i had an afc2 in my galant gsx (nt awd) and the only difference to wiring it up from a turbo to a nt is thers no knock sensor wire to tap into otherwise it just wires up to the harness just like you would to a turbo harness.

thanks for an answer with some useful content! LOL

and i do plan on eventually building a high compression motor, lots of ideas of strokers and high compression pop into my head.

AMEN! I can see adding 20% more volume at decent VE netting similar results as adding a stock turbo to run at "safe" boost for n/t compression. An n/t engine with 20% more volume doesn't have to push a turbocharger. I quote safe because that is relative to the user.

There's probably a little left to tune with the safc to get a little more power. Remember, the safc causes the ecu to bump timing when you lean out the fuel or add larger injectors.
