First I would like to give a little history about my build I started a little over 2 years ago and got side tracked well I'm trying to get back on track with it and hopefully finish it. This is my first build which I am doing mostly for learning experience. One of my fellow DSM'ers told me to post what I do to know what it takes to do a build like mine. What I have is a 7 bolt bottom end stroked with mwr 2.35L stroker kit with crower connecting rods. When I did all my research for this i found that 90% say stroked motors don't suffer crankwalk like a stock one so that was my deciding factor but now more recently I've read other wise.

if you are not planning on driving it on the street then stage 4 would be good, but if you want to cruise around in it, i would suggest stage 3, then for everyday driving i would keep stage 2.

It will hardly ever be on the street, Im thinking show car but be able to hold its own on the strip

Thats what it says on the reciet it going in to a 98

I'm wondering what intake manifold you guys would recommend I've read nothing but good for JMF but I also read that the new magnus manifolds aren't as shotty made as they used to be and the welds don't blow apart now is that true?

man your machine shop is pretty generous. prices seem to be pretty cheap. maybe my machinist just charges too much. what about other people that have done this kind of work. do these prices seem low? looks really good nonetheless. good luck with the whole process.

My friends dad owns a shop and they referred me to the machine shop so I was able to get the shops discount on all the labor

Yea I got pretty luck with how stuff fell together when ever i needed something and didn't have it just grab from the shop, hoist, engine stand air compressor. Well anyways back to build heres my shopping list for this week let me know what you guys think. The methanol compatiable magnus fuel rail, Brian Crower Stage 4 cam,s JMF intake manifold, Aeromotive FPR ss kit from sbr, 75mm BBK TB

Alright so BC stage 4 cams will be in today and I'll do timing this weekend get some pics up. I need to call Shep to get my tranny rebuilt can anyone tell me how long it takes to get it rebuilt for I can plan everything accordingly If it takes more then 4-6 weeks Ill order it before my turbo setup.

Just curious but was there supposed to be a second page and page 1 just got posted twice?

I would like to give props to Brian Crower I had a question Saturday night around 8pm about his springs and how high I can rev on them since I was finding different numbers online, I called the contact line expecting to leave a message(it is a Saturday night after all) My call got forwarded to BC cell phone and got my answer I would just like to say that is great support.

Let me know what you think of my list Im pretty sure I forgot soemhtings but I did not include little things like brake lines clutch lines fuel lines roll cage etc. I'm also fence sitting on the turbo between the punishment racing turbo kit all i really found on them is there budget manifolds aren't that great, and Im debating on the FP 35
