Idle issue Computer or SAFC II problem

My car is having a big issue. In Drive it idles at 1500 and in Neutral it idles at 3000. I had a computer diagnostic done to it and apparently the computer isn't reading anything from the O2 and intake I believe. They told me that I might need a new ECU or it tuned professionally but I am wondering if the SAFCII might be to blame. If it is the SAFCII how do I go about removing it since I bought it this way. I tried searching but couldn't quite find anything, I don't really want to go pull a ECU and it still have problems.

The safc should either have a harness that you can dissconect right by the ecu or hard wired in, If thats the case follow the wires from the safc till you get to the harness and cut them out.

Sounds like idle surge. Check this out. I dont think the safc II is your problem.

Most likely the isc, or tps, throttle cable, coolant sensor, mas, fiav

I figured it might be idle surge that these car tend to have and that still might be the problem but what has me confused is the ECU problem, I don't know if I should go to a junkyard and pull a ECU or spend the small fortune that a tuning shop here charges to tune my car with my SAFCII (I haven't touched the tuner since I got the car and I honestly have no clue how I would)
