Hey all,

Okay. I didn't really find an answer through searches, but I may have overlooked it. Anyway, I figured I'd ask.

First off, I don't have any plans to do any extensive modding and I'd rather not get 3" piping since I'm still on the stock turbo. I've also got a muffler that will be welded onto the end of it. Now the questions:

1. Is 2.5" piping from cat-back worth it over the stock 2.25"?
2. Probably up to the shop, but 2.5" will fit over the rear axle in a 2g GS-T, correct?
3. Not sure about this, but will 2.5" cause any or some sort of boost creep?

Thanks in advance.

Yes. Although I would suggest 3 inches instead, 2.5 inches will definitely be an upgrade.

Do not get the piping to fit over the rear axle. Instead, have the shop make the piping go around the axle (like you can see with this product). This will make it much more easier if you ever need to uninstall the exhaust system.

No, with a 2.5 inch system you shouldn't have a problem with boost creep. Also read through the link below about upgraded exhaust systems and backpressure. Good stuff. Also read through the second link for a little more info about boost creep versus boost spike.

im running a 3'' all the way from my turbo it fits over the axel and honestly ## gana have to get the 3'' eventually. we have plenty of low end power stock so losing a lil bit in the low end ull get it bak in the mid-high range soo i would just go 3inch and it wont affect ## stock turbo im running stock also and it works better now.
