Hello,
I am new to this forum and only posted once about using a turbo block in my non turbo car. as luck would have it I found a 92 non turbo engine with a little over 5000 mi on it after fresh rebuild. My car is a 90.
So to the issues I am having. got the engine in with no problem and put new timing belt and balance shaft belt in. I had to change the coil pack and throttle body and small module under coil pack because of differences in connections. I also had to change the cam positioning sensor. The car is timed correctly..... the problem..
1. The car when given full throttle will not go past 4500 to 4700 rpm it will buck and kick and feel almost like it is starving for fuel. When driven under normal condition (half throttle) it is much better.
2. engine has vibration at 3000 rpm
I left the 92 fuel rail and intake on the car....
What did I do wrong? I fully checked the balance shaft when we did the timing kit.....
Any help?
Jeff
