I know "search for the answer" but I'd like to get alot of peoples opinions be they good/bad

I'll show what I got, then ask what else I should get.

Let me explain I am not looking for a balls out race car.
Just wanting to make it a bit faster, but w/out going too overboard.

So far I have this turbo kit from turbokits.com
(it came with the car when I purchased it)
It's a 16g evo 3

And I just ordered a FMIC kit from SSAC.

I have a manual boost controller already that I can use.
I also have a RZM (i think?) fuelrail for a DSM in my garage.

I need to pick up a boost gauge..

What else should I look into getting?

190 fuelpump?
Aeromotive fpr?
Anything else at all?
I want everything I need to stay in a safe buffer zone then I will prob go have it tuned that way I do not have to screw w/it.

according to your profile it says your stock.

With these mods you are going to need a few things

1) Get a new bov...your stock one will leak past stock boost.
2) bigger injectors, 550cc or 680cc
3) something to tune with. Since you have a 95 you may have an eprom ecu. Search for a product called DSmlink. If you cant afford the 600 bucks on that, get something like an safc.

DO NOT TUNE IT UNLESS YOU HAVE A WIDEBAND OR A TUNER DOES IT FOR YOU ON A DYNO!!! That is very important

4) Really before all that new stuff goes on you should really get an airfilter and full exhaust.

Sorry, I forgot to add I have a full turbo-back exhaust for it too.

Im not going to tune it, I plan on having that done. Tuning is important to any vehicle thus I leave that kind of stuff to the pro's.

Ok so a BOV and Injectors also?

I seen I need a BOV that rec's so the HKS SSQV?

you can get a 1g bov for 40 bucks or less usually

Since you dont want to go bigger than the e316g a 190 fuel pump will be fine (rewire if possible)... You dont need a fpr with a 190... Just make sure you keep it near stock boost levels... Make sure you have all supporting mods... dont crank up the boost past 14 until you get a logger, 650 fuel injectors and safc...

* you guys are quick

Is your turboback catless? 3"? Free-flowing exhausts and evo3b16g turbos usually come together and creep to 20+psi. If you can't run whatever level of boost it creeps to, you get to deal with it.

Keep in mind that bigger injectors REQUIRE SAFC, DSMlink, or some other fuel controller. You CAN NOT just put the injectors on. Also, I wouldn't recommend any injectors larger than 650s if you choose SAFC as a fuel controller.

Make sure your engine is healthy BEFORE you upgrade. If you know everything is in great shape beforehand, that'll make problems easier to figure out after installing all of this stuff.

For his basic. setup. MaF-T (gen 1, Maybe Gen 2 if he wants the extra features and spend more cash.) and 550's would be a Cheap and spot on fuel setup. Toss im the palm pilot Logger, and hes done. :thumb:
There happen to be Vendors that sell exactly that package. Forgot who, but I know I have seen it.

With that turbo kit and intercooler he's bought. he wont need anything more. BUT if he does, he will find Problems elsewhere, Before the MAF-T and 550's become a issue.

3" w/high flow cat

The car only has 90k on the odo. I am going to check the compression across the board when I get time. Right now by the time I get off work it's dark. However time change this w/end is helping.

Thanks for all the replies guys.

The aftermarket fuel rail is overkill, the stock rail can handle 500HP+. If you choose the HKS ssqv over a stock 1G unit then you are only paying for having a shiny bov under the hood as the 1G unit will do fine with a 16G. Tial also makes a recirculator now.

wow i didnt know the stock rail could handle that much power. I still have my stock rail and was planning on getting an upgrade when i upgrade the turbo but wow stock rail handeling 500hp is impressive.... are you positive about that?

If you have a good tune and supporting mods...on the right turbo you can hit 500whp on a stock motor.

If your neighbors won't mind, go pick up a tripod-mounted dual 500w halide work light. I think they're about $45 at Home Depot/Lowes. It certainly gives you plenty of light, the tripod telescopes from about 2' off the ground up to 6', you can aim each light independently, and it collapses to a small enough size to easily fit on a shelf. They also make smaller, single-bulb ones that have a hook you can hang up on the underside of the hood. My avatar on the left was taken at about midnight using the full 1000w. I have both types. Those lights have come in handy for years. Dark never stopped me before.;)

Haha well the light isnt my biggest concern.. when it gets dark it gets cold as hell outside. Im still on the downhill slide of winter here.

This is a bit of an overstatement. You dont have to have a wide band, and if you run DSMLink or S-AFC you can learn on the fly. Just do go out, make crazy adjustments before you even know how the car is reacting.

Remember, rich is safe.

If you go with DSMLink, the forums will give you HUGE amounts of tuning knowledge, and you can post your logs up for much more advanced member to view, and give you advice on.

And so you don't think I'm talking out of my butt, I did exactly what I just described for over 2 years, and put down some pretty decent times, on a very similar setup to what your looking to put on your car.

As previously stated, do all the maint. on the car before you mod anything.

I ordered belts this morn.
I still have a new set of plugs & wires in the box from when I had my GST

So 14psi is safe then I gather?

Which belts? Accessories? Those plus t-belt? If you're going to replace the t-belt, when was the water pump last replaced if ever? Harmonic balancer? Pulleys? Tensioner? Now's the time if you're doing the t-belt.

Get a logger. Then you can see if 14psi is okay or not. Probably okay, but all cars are different. And that assumes you don't have any creep issues.

Timing belt and waterpump have been replaced already & have receipts from when it was done about 6mons ago or so.

The harmonic balancers go bad on these things?! wtf
