Ok, so a GSX I am looking at has a re-built 6-bolt swapped into it. Story is that they owner was going to part the car out, and only got around to selling the ECU. Since the engine was from 91-94, I am assuming that it was EPROM. So would I need to get an EPROM from another 91-94 for this car? Or would one from a 95 work too? Also, either way, what might I have to do to make the 91-94 ECU compatible with everything on the 95 GSX? Also, would a not EPROM work? Because a friend has a parts car that he said I can have the ECU off if I need it, but its non EPROM.

If the car you're looking into is a 2g, you need a 2g ECU. It can be EPROM or non-EPROM, from any year, and from any transmission. The only advantage if you get an EPROM is that you can run a chip/DSMlink (whereas you can't do that with a non-EPROM). But, you'll be spending about 4x as much for an EPROM as a non-EPROM. There is no way you can get a '91-'94 ECU working unless you rewire the main harness (which I'm sure you don't want to do :p).
 
Ok. So I need to keep an out for any 2G ECU? I read something about needing to re-order the firing so that it will run right. And truth to this?
